Smith, John, Corp. (no replies)

John Smith, Co. C, 33rd Regt., 4th Reserves, was enrolled May 30, 1861 at Montgomery County and mustered in as a Private at Harrisburg, Pa. on July 17, 1861. He was aged 23 at enrollment, with a ruddy complexion, gray eyes, sandy hair and was 5' 6" tall. He was a farmer residing in Montgomery Co. He was promoted to Corporal March 1, 1863.
